Hideaway Hollow Outfitters Hunting Trips
The year at HHO starts out with guiding hunting and fishing trips on the Texas Gulf Coast with Castaway Lodge. After the TX season is completed Capt. Matt heads to Mexico to guide waterfowl hunters. Once the duck hunting is complete Capt. Matt chases snow geese in MO and SD from Late February till early April. When April rolls around Matt hits the ground back in WI and starts turkey hunting through mid-May. Guiding hunters in zones 1, 2, and 3. Summer months are spent in northern Wisconsin guiding fishing trips, fishing tournaments, and working at Rollie and Helens Musky shop. Once the fall rolls around Capt. Matt start transferring to duck hunts at the end of September. Capt. Matt runs full time on the Mississippi River and has another guide running trips on Green Bay, and Lake Michigan. After Everything freezes I pack my bags once again and head back to the Seadrift, TX. The great thing about all of the places Capt. Matt guides hunting trips there is some of the states best fishing opportunities right in the same area. During the spring turkey season the Walleye run is in full swing on the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. In the fall on the Mississippi after a morning of duck hunting try for some afternoon walleye or bass fishing. During the winter Red fish and speckled trout stack up in the back flats and shallow shell reefs.
